Every stock item and size has a reorder, minimum and danger stock level.
Reorder Level
The reorder stock level is the level at which the stock item/size should be reordered from the supplier.
To see which stock items have a current stock level that is equal to or less than the reorder level go to Stock/Reports/Reorder Analysis

The columns in the report are as follows:
Free Stock - current stock level less any requisition lines at Allocated or Picking
On Order - quantity on order from the supplier waiting for delivery
Outstanding Reqs - quantity of any requisition lines at Out Of Stock
Stock Position - total of Free Stock plus On Order less Outstanding Reqs
Reorder Level - level at which the items/size should be reordered
Suggested Order Qty - quantity required to reach the reorder level
Example:
Free Stock 17
On Order 5
Outstanding Reqs (2)
___
Stock Position 20
Reorder Level 30
Suggested Order Qty 10 This is the quantity required to bring the stock level (stock position) back to the reorder level
Minimum Level
The minimum stock level is the level at which a requisition will require approval if the quantity on the requisition will reduce the stock level below the minimum level.
Example:
Minimum stock level is 30
Current free stock level is 32
If a requisition was entered for a quantity of 3 the requisition would need to be approved by stores as the stock level would go to 29 and would fall below the minimum stock level.
Using the same example, if a requisition was entered for a quantity of 2, approval would not be required as the current stock level would go to 30 and would not fall below the minimum stock level.
Danger Level
The danger level is the lowest stock level that you would want a stock item/size to reach.
If the danger level is reached immediate action should be taken.
