The hand held scanners can be used for stocktaking either for a full stock check or a partial stock check (stock item/s, warehouse or group).

On the hand held scanner select option 2 Stock Take. Then scan the item barcode and enter the quantity counted. Repeat for each item/size. It is advisable to regularly download the hand held scanner data to Opex Barcode.

When the data is downloaded from the handheld scanner it will appear in the Stocktake tab in Opex Barcode.

At this stage you have to choose whether you want to transfer the stock count to an existing stocktake list in Opex or create a new stocktake list, which in turn will automatically be added to Opex.
